12th Annual Family Promise National Conference
May 3 & 4 2013 at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta Georgia. Billy Bennett CEO of Pyramid ODI was a featured presenter in five workshops for this national charity supporting homeless families.
On Friday, Billy facilitated two roundtable discussions - one for Board Members and another for Family Promise Directors. During the Roundtables participants examined a number of challenges and shared tips and resources for overcoming those strategies.
Saturday, Billy presented two workshops. The first was Succession Planning: Conquering Poverty thru People - because as Billy stated "Most people think about succession planning as 'uh oh our director resigned who's next?' rather than thinking in advance how to we build and develop a succession of people to help us conquer poverty and homelessness?" He pointed out a number of useful tools including an expanded use of talent mapping.
Then in the afternoon Billy presented to a packed room when he delivered "The Art of Influence" a session to help participants think through their own personal plan to influence major change. During the workshop, he emphasized the necessity of understanding the three movement conditions each individual must satisfy before they will react to your moves to influence them "Do I trust you?", "Do I care?", "Can I act?" - or as Billy calls it "I Trust, I Care, I Can".
On Sunday he previewed a new workshop "Connecting in a Connected World". This workshop was an extension of his influencing workshop demonstrating how to expand the ideas of influence to the world of social media and social organization development.

Pyramid ODI, the international Organisation Design and Performance Interventions business, are delighted to be working with Crystal Palace to find new ways to create new business in new markets.
Billy R. Bennett, President of Pyramid ODI is looking forward to the collaboration.

Crystal Palace makes an excellent backdrop for showcasing our work and results. CPFC is a model of how leaders, staff and community can connect and passionately dedicate themselves to exceptional results. That's a partnership that works beyond the pitch. It is a model we work toward every day.”
Pyramid ODI helps multinationals, locals businesses and “not for profits” reset their strategy, align their people and customers to improve performance, and coaches individuals to succeed.
Based in Central London and a life-long CPFC fan, Pyramid ODI’s European Senior Vice President, Michael Salmon
adds;
“I have been impressed with the club’s new business packages. These days we are all looking for new ways to do business and I am looking forward to working with the commercial team as well as celebrating a Palace win!”
Palace’s Matchday Sponsorship Business Networking package allows companies to be introduced to senior management. Key decision makers invited by the club on the company’s behalf meet some of our current clients and contacts. This tailored approach means that the club can provide superb matchday hospitality whilst Pyramid ODI gets its message across to key personnel from new companies and contacts.
“As a club we are always looking for new ways to create new business, not just for ourselves but for our clients too” said Kevin Miller, Senior Commercial Sales at Crystal Palace.
“This package effectively creates the guest list for our clients from our own database, and helps us identify and deliver the best and most relevant people at the right management level. We have used this model many times and find that it creates a genuine trust between client and company that ultimately leads to new business for both.”
The Matchday Network Sponsorship Package is available throughout the season and tailored to your companies needs. Contact the club for a consultation, and let Crystal Palace help your business create new business. For further information on Crystal Palace Call 0208 768 6010 or e-mail sales@cpfc.co.uk
