Our purpose and work


Releasing the potential of great work and a great workplace is the aim of every assignment.  Achieving this creates our satisfaction, success and growth.  
 
As one of our clients said, “Pyramid is not satisfied with mediocre.”    We are not.  We want winning organizations and individual team members achieving more than they thought possible.  And then we look for ways to make that even better.  
 
Great work.  That is an organization that wins not just enough to get by, or “hang in” with the others.  Great work aims to satisfy the needs of customers in such a way that competitors wish to copy – but cannot.  It means becoming the example in every metric that makes sense to measure.  It means finding ways to get better.  And it does so honestly, ethically, and sustainably.

Great workplaces.  That is a place that brings forth the very best in the individuals who participate in the work.  Everyone.  We believe strongly in teams.  We also believe in every kind of diversity.  We believe the Great Workplace is one where everyone can shine from within the team.  Each individual should grow personally and professionally in ways that bring value to their life and future.  That is a tall order, but it drives us.

Our history


Pyramid began in Belgium in 1994, founded by Billy Bennett and Francine Vanhove.  It was built as an organization development group helping companies with any change or challenge that required different behaviors from the people within the organization.  During our first major assignment we helped Chep Benelux, a logistics service company to redesign the complete process and culture of its repair depot.  That work not only resulted in an exceptionally significant improvement for Chep but also garnered numerous awards and recognitions for performance including the inclusion in the Best Cases in High Performance Teams published by the Center for Collaborative Work at the University of North Texas.  This work was the launching pad for a number of design projects to follow.

In recent years, our work and client base expanded.  We have offices in the United States and Europe.  In the English language version of this website, both American and British written forms are in use.  Our associates are based in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia.       

Our work has evolved and in 2008, as an expansion of our organization development  work, we added the role of “intensive care teams” – teams of expert managers and coaches who help failing workplaces by providing high levels of skills and attention to get them back on their feet and releasing the potential of greatness.
