This company was implementing lean manufacturing processes across seven facilities in seven countries outside the U.S., with different cultural issues, different corporate histories and different languages. Pyramid’s role was twofold: to
support the team developing a lean program, and to provide leadership development as part of a global initiative to raise talent levels.
Using the company’s internally generated training materials, we provided each site with a native speaker who understood the culture and had the skills to deliver the requisite training. Most important, they were able to do so in a manner that achieved results while respecting local sensitivities.
