The entire facility management team had been fired and recent workforce turnover had been at such high levels that no-one had any idea how to get things done.
Pyramid ODI was brought in to help stabilise the operation, develop a new organisational structure and create a new
workforce, starting with the management. At the leadership level, we immediately brought in an interim team, getting billing back on track within a month, production and shipping within three months, meanwhile stabilising 14 customers. We worked with the employees, educating them in lean principles and solid manufacturing techniques. The changes introduced empowered and engaged them to good effect. Within a year, we were able to withdraw, in full knowledge that the facility was back on track, with an excellent new management team and an enthusiastic workforce.
